Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and GeoTid ApS ("GeoTid", "we", "our", or "us") governing your access to and use of the GeoTid time tracking platform, including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.
Definitions
"Employee User"
An individual who uses the mobile app to check in/out at work sites.
"Employer User"
A business or individual who manages employees and accesses the web dashboard.
"Work Site"
A geographic location with a defined geofence where employees perform work.
"Time Entry"
A record of a check-in, check-out, and associated work duration.
User Accounts
Account Creation
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
- One person or entity may not maintain more than one account
Account Security
- You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
- We recommend enabling biometric authentication where available
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
Service Description
GeoTid provides GPS-verified time tracking services including:
For Employees
- • Mobile app for check-in/out
- • Location-verified attendance
- • Work history access
- • Time entry exports
For Employers
- • Web dashboard for management
- • Employee tracking & reports
- • Work site configuration
- • Export to CSV/Excel/PDF
Acceptable Use Policy
You May
- Use the Service for legitimate time tracking purposes
- Export your own time entry data
- Configure work sites within your organization
- Invite employees to use the Service
You May Not
- Attempt to spoof or manipulate GPS location data
- Access accounts or data belonging to other users without authorization
- Use the Service to violate any laws or regulations
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
- Use automated systems (bots) to access the Service
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
Location Data & GPS Accuracy
The Service relies on GPS technology for location verification. You acknowledge that:
- GPS accuracy may vary based on device, environment, and atmospheric conditions
- Indoor locations may have reduced GPS accuracy
- You must grant location permissions for the Service to function
- Check-in attempts outside the geofence will be flagged or rejected
- The Service records your location only during check-in and check-out events
Data Ownership & Rights
Your Data
You retain ownership of all time entry data you create. We process this data to provide the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.
Our Content
The Service, including all software, design, graphics, and content, is owned by GeoTid and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
Feedback
If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Service, you grant us the right to use and incorporate that feedback without compensation.
Pricing & Payment
- Pricing is based on the number of active employees per month
- New subscriptions include a 30-day money-back guarantee; refund terms are specified at signup
- Payments are processed monthly or annually as selected
- We may change pricing with 30 days notice
- Refunds are provided according to our refund policy
- Accounts may be suspended for non-payment
Termination
By You
You may terminate your account at any time through the account settings. Upon termination, you may request export of your data.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or engage in fraudulent activity. We will provide notice where possible.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Data retention follows our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
Service Provided "As Is"
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
- GPS accuracy depends on factors outside our control
- You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of time entries
- We are not liable for employment disputes arising from time data
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- GeoTid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
- These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark. However, we encourage you to contact us first to resolve disputes informally.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
